Mossy Rock Masonry was founded by Scott Stidsen, a third-generation mason based in central Massachusetts. Scott has been in the masonry field since his high school days when he would assist his father in his construction company. He was also a crucial part of his brothers’ masonry company for several years before he decided to run his own business. The Stidsen family has long been known for its mastery of the trade and integrity of workmanship.

Scott enjoys working on projects of all sizes—commercial and residential—and he specializes in stone and brick veneers, fireplaces, chimneys, walkways, patios, landscape design, and more. He takes great pride in a job well-done, and his love for his work is reflected in his sense of artistry and attention to detail.

Prior to the start of a project, Scott will meet with his customers as many times as necessary to ensure that their vision becomes fully realized; he continues to confer with them along every step of the way and follows through from beginning to end. He is very dedicated to his craft and maintains a neat and clean work area, taking utmost care of the homeowner’s property. Consequently, the majority of his work comes from repeat customers and direct referrals.
